The Reptile Keeper v2.3 is out now

Hey everyone!

We’ve been busy once again on The Reptile Keeper, and this one is a big release. V2.3 is the largest update we’ve shipped since v2, bringing in a set of features designed to make record keeping more flexible, more useful, and much better suited to the real-world needs of reptile keepers, breeders and shops.

This update introduces:

Handoff
A brand new way to transfer a copy of an animal’s records to another account. This is especially useful for breeders and reptile shops when an animal moves on to a new keeper, making it much easier to pass over important information without starting from scratch. It helps ensure continuity of care and gives the new owner a stronger starting point from day one.

Archiving with reasons
You can now archive animals with a clear reason attached, including Sold, Deceased, and Given away. This means you can keep a permanent history of that animal and its records without cluttering up your active animal lists. It’s a simple change, but an important one for anyone who wants to keep accurate long-term records.

New granular statistics
We’ve expanded statistics across the platform so you can get more insight from the records you already keep. You can now view improved graphs for weight, shedding and feeding logs on individual animals, making it easier to spot trends over time. Whether you want to monitor progress, compare patterns, or work out which feeding methods are most effective for your reptiles, The Reptile Keeper now gives you a much clearer picture.

V2.3 is all about making your records work harder for you, while also making The Reptile Keeper more practical for keepers managing animals through every stage of ownership.
